Okay here's a GOOD one. 6 cups wheat flour 1/2 c. white flour 1 T. yeast 2 1/2c. hot/warm water 1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. olive oil 1 T. salt
dissolve yeast in the water. Add 4c. of the wheat flour. Add honey& olive oil& let rest for 10 minutes. Mix in rest of wheat flour, white flour and salt. Knead for awhile (I think that's the key) Shape into loaves & place in greased pans. Let rise in warm place until double in size. Bake at 375 for 35-45 minutes. Makes 2 loaves I just use my stand mixer with dough hooks to do all of the kneading. Enjoy!
your loaf sure looks dreamy. Isn't that half the battle? I've only had a few things Heather's made, but I loved them so much that I wanted the recipe. so her recipe is bound to be good! Saw Jay Flemming at church yesterday. Made me miss his family. I'm glad you guys live closer now.
